Our house is situated at 5 rue Principale, Marcé, in Maine and Loire.
There is access by a private lane called "Allée de l'Ermitage", so called as in the old days, the people of the village used it to get to the "Salle de l'Ermitage". Here they played the game of "boule de fort", wich is an indoor game of boule, typical to the Anjou region.
We were delighted to return the life back to this house after it had been neglected for such a long time. The house now enjoys the comforts of this ara without losing the charm. Wooden beams, a fireplace made from local Loire stone, the local small red floor tiles and exposed woodwork all add to the personality of the house.
